American Presidents

Daily Question: Can you name a U.S. President? Hugh suggested Hu Jintao (China's President). Susie guessed President Monson? Try again!

Toys:
Littlest Pet Shop, Cars, Dora Bowling, and Skee Ball.

*We welcomed back Ezra (Olivia's cousin) back to our preschool.

Snack: Pretzel Squares, Red Delicious Apple Slices, and Strawberry Fruit Snacks.

Free Play: Outside. Yes!

Today's airplane ride was very adventurous! Students wanted to fly (back in time) to the Jurassic period to see Dinosaurs, then to Arizona, then to Oregon and up to Alaska, where the polar bears and salmon live. It was a long (10 minutes) and bumpy ride. Thank goodness no one got motion sick aboard.

Circle Time: We enjoyed talking and reading about United States Presidents. Vocabulary words today included: President, United Sates of America (U.S.), America, leader, ruler, and country. We enjoyed listening to George Washington and the General's Dog.

Frosting Cookies: We ended the day with a sweet treat from Valentines!
